COVID-19 Conditions of Entry:

Staff, Volunteers, Contractors, User Group Members and Visitors

The Goondiwindi Showgrounds has taken extra health and hygiene measures to ensure your health and safety is protected whilst staying or visiting the showgrounds.

All Staff, Volunteers, Contractors, Visitors and User Group Members are asked to:

  • Not enter the showgrounds if:
    • Feeling unwell, have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath or other cold/flu-like symptoms.
    • If you have traveled overseas or been in a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days
    • If you have been in close contact with  a person who is positive for COVID-19
    • If you suspect you may have COVID-19

Physical distancing & good hygiene practices are to be observed as a condition of entry to the grounds.

 

The Goondiwindi Showgrounds is a fabulous facility that serves a multitude of purposes for the Goondiwindi region.  Located only a short distance away from essential facilities including medical services, fuel, pharmacy and grocery stores, the Showground is a regular meeting place for local community groups.  Used regularly for caravan rallies and large, medium and small events including the Goondiwindi Show, Campdraft, horse events, Cutting and Polocrosse.

Facilities at the showground include:
arenas, stables, pavilions, bar facilities, kitchen facilities, office, toilets, showers, RV dump point, covered indoor areas, lighting, stage area and cattle yards.

Caravan & Camping welcome!

Powered Sites: $25.00 per van / per night

Unpowered Sites: $15.00 per van / per night

Electric Vehicle Service: $15.00 per service fee / per use

Max. 14 day stay (at any one time)

Camping with horses is also available on the Eastern side of the grounds, adjacent to the Stable facilities.
Additional fees of $10.00 for initial use of stables and $5.00per stable per night following the initial nights stay.

Equestrian Zone

Equestrian Events continue to grow in popularity, and with this the Goondiwindi Show Society and key stake holders are committed to continue to develop the equestrian and horse sport facilities.  Facilities Include: (as at October, 2018) Stables, Cutting Arena, Campdraft Arena, Under Cover Viewing Platform, plenty of power and water for camping during events, dedicated shower and toilet block for horse sport events.   $550.00 per day, plus metered power & water consumed.

McColl Pavilion

The McColl Pavilion is a venue which suits many styles of events; used by the Off Road Rally for scrutineering, during the annual show for trade sites and even for formal events such as closing ceremony this pavilion can easily be transformed to suit your event.  $330.00 GST INC per days use.

Grandstands

The Goondiwindi P&A Society are pleased to offer 11 quality portable grandstands for hire.
$55.00 GST INC per day of hire.

Full Ground Hire and other buildings and facilities are available for hire upon enquiry.

Electric Vehicle Service

The Goondiwindi Showgrounds are equipped with 3-phase 5 pin service points.
